Samsung Smart TV doesn't refresh NAs

Specs: Samsung Smart TV
I connect to my NAS using my Samsung Smart TV and it's outdated. Showing stuff that I deleted and not showing stuff I put recently. After a while (maybe a couple of days), it updates but how do I fix it or refresh it? Thanks!

I guess, it's a problem of the media server, running on the NAS.
The media server has to index all media files in the folders and subfolders, you configured for the media server.

It might be an issue of the running version of media server you're using.
So check for an updated version.

Or maybe, the database of the media server is corrupt and you have to reindex all files and folders of the media server.

We access the NAS on our computers fine, without any problems. It's a problem with the TV, most likely.

Do you access the NAS on your computers via DLNA?
This is, what the Samsung TV does.
And this is, what the indexing process is for.

So accessing the NAS with your PC is most likely simple file access and not DLNA.

Correct me, if I'm wrong on that.

No, we access it using the explorer so I guess it is just file access. But is this supposed to happen and can I fix it?

You have to check the settings of the Media Server on the NAS.
You may have to reindex the media files from within the Media Server on the NAS.

I neither know the make and model of the NAS nor the Media Server running on it.

So every guess is a shot in the dark.
