I have a Panasonic Dvd Recorder DMR-Ex75 and want to copy two hdd recordings to a DVD . I would like to be able to select either recordings to play when I play the DVD on the TV. i,e a create a menu on the DVD

I can not seem to get this done?

What do you mean by HDD?
If that's referring to High Def, you won't be able to burn it to
DVD (at least not in HD)

While creating the movie add the two clips and then choose to add Chapters and a menu.

You can use wondershare video to dvd burner, it can burn video in all video formats to DVD, it provides a series of features to make a highly customized DVD. like dvd menu, video transition effects, special video effects, customize logo, and other video editing features.
