When i try to play my mp3, the music sounds different when i play it with Windows Media Player or BSPlayer/VLCPlayer. It even sounds the same as BS player when i play it on my handphone. But its distorted on Windows Media Player. Any ideas why?
I tried turning off the equalizer, doesnt work. Its the same with the equalizer on/off. I tried reinstalling my latest sound driver, still the same problem. I checked that my direct X is the latest, and its DirectX 9.0c Also set the speaker for my soundcard as default(or the other choice) but still sound distorted. Changed the sound accelerator settings, doesnt work..

I suppose it's possible that that it is overloading so it might be worth turning WMP volume down, or even mp3 generally. It shouldn't be necessary but at least it's easy to try.
