You should still be able to access the menu via the controls on the TV itself.

yeah no because she can't watch her family guy either so she wouldn't do that on purpose. I can access the menu how ever there is nothing there to help me get my inputs back i have tried everything there i even found one of my old remotes(universal) looked up codes online but the only thing is that it doesn't have an input button

Try unplugging the TV for 5-10 minutes then plugging it back in?

My friend had a similar issue on his bigscreen tv which this resolved. Don't cost anything and it's worth a try.
