Is it correct to assume that all 512 gig MP3 player store the same amount of songs regardless of brand.
With a nominal 256 Bite Rate setting 3 hours of recording puts the file at 329MB.
With a nominal 128 Bite Rate setting 3 hours of recording puts the file at 153MB.
As you see the size of the MP3 file get bigger with a increase of encoding bit rate.
An increase in Bit Rate gives you better quality play back. With a Bit Rate of 256 you shouldn't be able to hear the difference between Wave and MP3 quality.
