I have several homemade MP3 CDs with some of the file/tracks corrupted (they won't play back). Is there a way to fix this? I tried converting them, but they are too corrupted. I'm guessing that the source master (an audio tape) was damaged and the noise transfered to the CD, but it may be some other problem. I can't even copy them to HDD they are so corrupt/damaged/noisy/defective

It doesn't have to be this difficult

I could be wrong, but it doesn't sound right that they would be corrupted during the transfer from tape. They might be noisy and sound terrible, but I would think that they would still play.

I wonder if the drive is just having problems reading the CD. Try it on another system.

I assume it's too late to try the recording from tape again.

I really suspect a CD problem, or a problem with the CD recorder.

I'm not making them

Someone else is

I am trying to figure out what is wrong with them so I can tell them what the problem is

I guess I'll just have to go to Houston in person to fix the problem

It doesn't have to be this difficult
