When watching a movie or gaming on our LCD HDTV, the picture will sometimes tear and turn very dark on the right side of the TV, but then come back to normal after a few minutes. This happens about every 5 or 10 minutes. What can be causing this? I'm clueless as to how to fix this.
Check your refresh rate. Older LCD's had issues with refresh rates faster than 60hz. If you have it set to 120Hz or higher, lower it and see if that fixes the problem.
