I just got my iRiver H10 20GB MP3 player yesterday, and all the syncing with WMP10 went good until it got to my mp3 files (large folder, approx 3GB, 700 mp3s, all different artists, basically a dump for all my mp3 downloads, but all sons are properly tagged, all have album name: "Downloaded Music" and album artist "Various Artists" as listed in WMP). It will copy the file very quickly, but then it will just keep that song there for about 30 seconds, until it goes onto the next one. This is ridiculous considering all my regular cd uploaded songs that I've transferred transfer in 1 or 2 seconds. I have the latest firmware and I'm connected USB2 directly into the computer. I've reformatted it and reloaded the new firmware. Will I have to break up all the MP3s in that folder and put them all under their own artists' folders? Thanks in advance!
My basic question: What's iRiver's problem with syncing big Various Artist folders?
No time for love, Dr. Jones!
