Does your iPod show it's charging? Do you get a sound from your speakers signifying something is now connected? Did you try another USB port? Another Computer?

Well, its my friends iPod.
He told me he tried it on his friends computer and no connection there either...
I already checked if the computer detected it in any way(throught the "device connected"beep and in My Computer), no luck...
My iPod works on his computer though, so it is the iPod.
