Didn't know which category this would fall under, so I hope this is close enough. I recently restored my computer to the factory settings when I bought it. My IPOD has 190 songs on it, but I remember last time i synced it up with my itunes after resetting my computer last year, it wiped my songs out on my IPOD. How do I go about uploading the songs on my ipod to my computer w/o itunes updating my Ipod and erasing my songs? Thanks

You'll need to purchase 3rd party software, unfortunately.
This is why it's best to backup your music collection frequently. External hard drives aren't too expensive these days, and you can use NTBackup within Windows to get it done.
Not tried this, but it looks promising...

It's also worth noting if you know something like what you had to do is going to happen, deauthorize your PC first for your AAC files.
