Hello all, I recently lost all of the songs in my iPod since iTunes automatically updated and when it did it automatically synced my iPod to my empty library. I was able to recover all of my songs through a software called recover my files but I noticed that my songs were mixed up. When I double clicked a song to listen to it, it began in the middle of another song and it ended with another song. In other words my songs merged into mixes of songs. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix this, or if anyone knows how to recover the songs another way. thanks in advanced.

I can't fix your songs, but I can tell you the reason that the songs were corrupted. That happened because you used the system after the problem. If you had shut down immediately, moved the hard drive to another system and did the recovery, you most likely would have all your songs intact.
You have learned an important lesson the hard way. Backup anything that you don't want to lose!
