I took pictures at a wedding yesterday with my Nikon 7000

Specs: Windows 7
I could see the pictures and they looked great at the wedding but when I removed the card and tried to download today from the camera it is showing "folder contains no images". I was checking all the images as I took them, so I Know there were images on the card. I have already tried a recovery program and it recovered other pictures, but none from yesterdays date.

Does that camera have an internal memory? if so (clutching at straws) I just wondered if it had switched to that.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Nikon D7000 has two card slots, one on top of the other, check the second slot.

According to the manual, transfer of pictures to a computer is done via a USB cable (UC-E4) and the software "Nikon Transfer 2". Both supplied with the camera at purchase (together with said manual).

What recovery program did you try? There are many. Do the missing pictures show when you put the card back in the camera?
