I have a pioneer radio and it suppose to play dvds but when I insert a dvd it will only play the audio on the dvd an a screen will pop up saying viewing from drivers front is prohibit how do I FIX THE PROBLEM

I suspect the error message is not exactly as you've typed it, as it doesn't make much sense. At a guess I would say the DVD player is designed for a different region code than the region code printed on the disc. The region codes have to match.

It looks to me as if the message is saying that (very sensibly), the system won't play DVDs on the main screen. That would be because it could be a distraction to the driver. Presumably you can connect other screens which would be located where only the rear-seat passengers could see them.

As you don't actually tell us the model of the device it's difficult to be more precise. It's difficult to think that this isn't mentioned in the manual.
