Could you sound any more like an idiot? How about posting this in clear English so we know what the hell your talking about.

These comments by the angry individuals are an abosolute travesty. This is a computer help site, not a grammar lesson.

Since we are discussing errors...
Shirley asked,
"What is mswmm? and what is your problem?"

Sadly Shirley, you cannot begin a sentence with the word "and". You definitely cannot begin a sentence with a lower case letter. I can see how your grammatical expertise grants you the right to correct others. I am impressed. Proper English is definitely your strength.

THX stated,
"How about posting this in clear English so we know what the hell your talking about."

You incorrectly used "your" instead of "you're". The contraction for "you are" is "you're". You've typed it as if the poster owns their talking. The possessive word you used is incorrect. Your ignorance (which you OWN) outshines the best of them. You should be proud of yourself. God bless you :)

I must add in continuance that I too am having issues regarding file conversion.

Venus, right you are sir and I stand corrected, but in all fairness I believe if someone wants help they will come in here and talk respectively instead of sounding like some dim-witted fool. I'm not talking about people who don't speak English natively but obviously this is some immature kid who thinks it's "kewl" to type like this. Again I stand by my convictions even though I spelled the contraction wrong.

However, to answer the question, the msmww file is not the final video file but a project file. The project file saves information like the video clips you used, edit points, transition effects, music, etc. This way you can go back and do further editing on your video project whithout having to start all over. Once you have the project created, you then have to create the actual video.

How to convert msmww file to .wmv

MSWMM is a windows movie maker project file, not regular video.

The problem it sounds is what I have.

Windows XP machine, running Movie Maker 5.1.

This is what you get after you make and save a project.

The problem is is will not allow it to save in any other format.

When you go through the different ways to save it it always says that it does not support this format to save it. Even thought it is a project file created in the program.
