how much aluminum in a cd?

does anyone know the approximate amount of aluminum in a cd? or at least the thickness of the aluminum layer in a cd? it's for my science work for school. thanks.

Yeah, I thought it might've been easier to find, but it actually took a bit of scouting around.

Pretty thin, at any rate - now you can apply those handy math skills and calculate the mass, using pi and a periodic table
