A friend sent me a clip in MSWMM format on skype. I searched all over Internet, but I didn't find converter. My movie maker can't open the file - "The file.....was created by a version of Windows Movie Maker that is not supported." What can I do to open or convert it?

Well, MSWMM files are the configurations you have changed to raw video. For example, you import a video that needs edited. What the MSWMM file is is the changes made to the clips-- order, cuts, titles, music positions... etc. What you need is the original file or the file created by the File -> Save Movie function. So it doesn't matter that you can't open it.
