the movie that i downloaded and it says that "play
on Windows Media Player".. it does not play on
any other player no matter how much i try :(
help me ASAP.

actually my WMP shows me a validation problem. although i
have put a licensed version of windows XP, still the WMP has
some issues. thats y i wanted to play it in someother player, but
it just shows in the video- "Play in WMP"

I would say it may be some sort of virus on your movie download. You may want to do a scan with malwarebytes and remove all it finds.

What is your AV?

oh...i use norton... can anything be done with this genuine
windows stuff...its really irritating me :(
besides, i downloaded other movies which play damn well on
VLC player... but i guess this piece of video tht i downloaded is
adamant on being played on WMP.
guess 'l delete this and download it once again with some filters..

That would be a good idea, I think there is a problem with the video itself.

As far as the genuine windows problem, are you able to download any other MS progs like PhotoStory 3?
I would notify MS about your problem...good luck

no actually i didn't download any other stuff like that. but i guess
i'l download the movie again and will surely let you know if any
issue arises. ok?
