I am running video out of my MacBook Pro in both Mac OS and Windows XP onto my NuVision 42" LCD. Right now I am using an HDMI cable that runs through my office walls to the monitor. I hook the HDMI calbe to my laptop with an DVI>HDMI adapter. Video is perfect. Unfortunately I am only pumping Video into that HDMI and no Audio. Cabling is in walls already, so ideally I am looking for some sort of adapter or converter to get my sound from the laptop into the HDMI calbe with my video feed. Can't find an adapter? Is there such a thing?

This is not the only option nor the best price, but something like this should work: http://www.buy.com/prod/dvi-audio-s...

Thanks, my IT guy was just looking at the same thing. I didn't know if I could get the sound from the BacBook Pro to the format needed. I know I have headphone out, but not sure what other options.

I guess you would probably need an 'analog to digital audio' converter.
