When trying to burn a dvd using EZ Media Creator 7 an error pops up. As well it’s not possible to burn anything in other programs. Can anyone tell me what it is, I would rally appreciate your help. Thanx.

Bad Media seems the likely cause.. try a different brand!

I’ve checked different brands of DVD disks and still the same problem appears. Two things I’ve noticed:
- the drive has no problem reading DVDs
- the drive has no problem recording CDs

It would be great if someone could tell me if CD/DVD drive crashed or something else is wrong. Thanks

WinXP can burn CDs natively. Is your burner drive shown in EZ Media Creator 7 by the correct model?
