I bought my laptop in Malaysia, moved to China and now have returned to the UK. I can't play my UK DVD's as the machine is set for Asian regions. Is there a fix for this? I can program but am not an expert.

I don't know if there is a firmware solution, you might check the Toshiba web site, but for a software solution look here:
