Are Divx formated movies that are copied from a PC to a DVD playable on a TV through the use of a newer regular DVD player or will the format be unplayable?

As mentioned, you need a DivX (preferably DivX Ultra) player to watch most "PC-Format" video. I have 2 Philips player and strongly recommend them.
