i want to buy a digital tv tuner for my computer (xp, 1.5gb ram, 3ghz HT p4 and 80gb h/d). I was wondering if my digital tv tuner will work with the antenna. i Think it might but i have the problem of my tv antenna point is at least ten meters away and i have a cheap cable. It worked with a analog tv tuner but im not sure if it wil work with a digital tv tuner. The antenna on the roof is about 15-20 years old.
If anyone knows if this solution to getting tv will still work with a digital tv tuner please tell me as i dont want to buy a $200 thing and find out it didnt work!!

If you're asking whether a tv tuner card that goes into a pc will take a standard antenna. The answer is yes. If you're asking whether an old antenna will pick up HDTV, the answer is maybe.
If you can't fix it, blow it up and deny that you saw anything.
