Is there any way to force XP to retain the camera memory stick file numbering system when you use the Wizard to copy picture files to a folder?
[I realise that you can opt for going manual then use Copy/Paste or whatever]
My system specs seem to have come out as N/A on this post. It's XP Home SP2 OS anyhow.

just go into "My Computer", open you camera card, press ctrl+a and it will select all of the files and then press ctrl+v once in the folder you want to put the pictures into... i cant believe anyone actually uses that camera transfer wizard --------------- Worst wizard ever /comic book guy

Thx. I'm aware of the various keys.
On W98 I wrote a batch file for this. Batch files work fine on XP too but are rather slow.
Have since stopped using the wizard and made other arrangements.
