cordless phone & wifi router

i have a problem that my cordless phone is interference my wireless router. Are there anyway to fix that?
I have try many things such as changing the channels & keys. One of my router is 2.4 ghz, and my cordless phone is 2.4ghz, which inference here.

Get a 5.8GHz phone set.
Personally, I've been very pleased with uniden brand phones.

Yes, 2.4 ghz wireless phones are known to sometimes cause problems with wireless routers. Like heropsycho2177 said get a 5.8ghz phone.

most of the routers allow you to change the frequency and some phone mods allow you to do the same (lowering the GHz on the phone would be better because the wireless internet could use the higher frequency more than the phone needs it)... my old 400MHz phone still provides a good clear signal from 100++ yards away at my neighbors about 8 houses down the street
