hi, i have a Premier dhe-p690ub headunit in my car, it plays usb flash drives, but i tryed to connect a laptop hard drive in a usb enclosure, i format it in fat32, put some songs on it but it says "no device" when i conect it... any help? is there a way i can make the usb hard drive to "look" like a usb flash drive to the computer or other devices?

Hi, it should work, ive done it in my 4WD. only thing i can sujest is make sure you use a laptop hard drive enclose that powers the hard drive threw the usb cable. apart from that it should go. good luck. Oz
