How long can a HDMI cable can be to hook up to TV to a computer. My computer is 25 - 30ft away

should not be any different than having your aerial connected same distance to your tv , all Video and data cables including coax have shielding installed in cables preventing interference.
You will still get your High definition using s-video cables.
