okay, it may not be the best idea, but im woundering if it is possible...

my goal is to connect my computer to a stereo usind parts i already have

if i take a standard headphone jack and splice it into the red and white cables for a stereo line will that work? I am aware of the power lines in standard headphone jacks


in essence i want to make this, do you think it will work?

If at first you dont suceed in opening a computer, get a hammer and a chisel like i do...
