compressing video files.

i have a bunch of home videos that i would like to put onto one dvd. except the minutes run over the 120 minute mark. is there anyway to compress the files so i can fit more time onto the dvd?

if you have access to the program Adobe Encore...try using that.
Encore is a dvd making tool that I've used and it has a fairly decent compression tool within it.
Be warned though...if you do compress your files they will be lower quality (of course).
