Hey guys,
I recently set up an extra monitor for my computer, our plasma tv (through HDMI cable so I get sound out of it too)
Sometimes I'll have a show on playing through the computer for my family to watch and at the same time I want to be playing a game or whatever on the computer, the only problem is I will hear the audio from the game on the tv overlap their soap opera or whatever they watch.
The best I could find was that in media player classic (with CCCP codec pack) I could set my audio output manually that way we could both we watching something at the same time.
But with games its different because I dont necessarily have the option to set the audio output to my motherboard rather than the HDMI cable going to the TV.
Could anyone figure out any of these two solutions:
1) Get Windows Media Player to output audio strictly to the HDMI source (that way I can set my Realtek audio from the motherboard as default and Windows Media Player (not classic, WMP 11 which they usually stream their show on) will always default to the TV audio?
2) A config file or something for the games I play (Guild Wars or GRID specifically) where I can set the default audio output (motherboard, AKA my headphones)
?
Much appreciated for any answers that help God willing, thank you!
