Cant Copy Audio CD to computer

Specs: Windows 7 ultimate, 1gb
Hi! I have LG : DVD RW Drive in my computer. I have an Audio CD. I want 2 copy it on my PC. when I enter it in my DVD rw, Icon displays the presentation of it. I can play also. But when I open it in new window I can see only 1 KB each of audio file and cant copy it to my PC. So kindly solve this problem. Thanks.......Mehul Rathava@sairam computers, Kawant

First, if that was an e-mail address you tried to post, then don't. It only invites spammers to pummel your account (and virtually no one here responds to e-mail requests anyway)...

Second, you can't copy Audio CD's to a hard drive. The .cda format is meant for only---you guessed it---CD's. You have to rip them to some other format for a hard drive to recognize (such as .wma or .mp3). You may copy it to another optical-media source, but not to a hard/flash/floppy drive...

The reason the cda file you see is only 1k in size is because it's not actually a file at all it's a pointer to where the song starts on the CD.

Follow T-R-A's advise and use CDex to rip your songs.
