I am trying to connect my blue ray player to my linksys wireless router. I have a WEP security and the key is 26 characters long but the key field on the set up will only allow for 24. It will not connect to the wireless network. My computer works fine and my I-phone will connect to the same network. What am I doing wrong

I was thinking that since it will only take 24 characters then you will likely need to use a different Security type like WPA2 as additionally noted when I right clicked on your BlueRay name and selected Open in new Tab it shows more than shown below but...On the router configuration page:

Click Wireless Security, just below Wireless. Change the security mode to
WPA2-Personal, then, enter a password of at least 8 characters in the pre-shared key/passphrase box. Save the settings.

Use your Blu-Ray to find your network, then, enter manual settings. Use these:
IP Address:
Default Gateway:

Connect with these settings and enter your WPA2 key when prompted.
End of excerpt.

You will need to change your password/passphrase on your other devices too.
