Streaming to your TV is totally not possible, all TV's undertake is displaying the contents of a signal.....

On your PC do you have a twin output graphics, if so you connect the unused output to your TV. The type of cable you need etcetc is dependent on the the output socket on the PC and the inputs available on the TV.

The Sony Playstation3 will allow you to stream from your computer to the tv (with a network connection). You can also install an internet browser on the PS3 and get the internet directly on the TV

i'm nt sure of the suggestions above, or what you exactly mean by streaming but if you want to carry out what im thinking then there are several ways:

Using an s-video (if there is an output on your graphics card) to you tv (if there is an s video input on your tv)

Using the vga output on you graphics card or motherboard and connect it (if you have an vga input port on your tv) to your tv.

Using the HDTV output port and connect it to your tv's HDTV input, as you did state your tv was a HDTV.

If you dont have a HDTV output on your computer but have a DVI port then you can get a DVI to HDTV convertor from ebay or other sites on the internet. It should produce full HD quality on you tv, however it will not send sound signals as DVI ports send digital dignals only.

Hope this helps.
