Is it possible to record from an ordinary audio c90/c60 cassette to a mini disc? The audio cassette machine has 'ear', 'mic' and a 'DC IN 6V' sockets. Or could the recorded cassette somehow be directly linked to a PC? The PC has Pro Tools.
If your mini-disk is a mini CD, yes. You would connect the ear out to the line in of your sound card. You would need both recording software and CD burning software.
If you are have the Sony style disk cartridge, it depends upon the model. I have seen a version that requires a USB cable and the proper software to write to the disk. Other versions probably need just the cable with the proper connectors.
just put it in the line in and use something like audacity with is completely free, or in the windows assecoires there is a wav recorder also but i tend to not use that as much as there is a limit of 2 minutes of recording.
