Sup guys I got a quick question for anyone out there. I got a 15amp Circut Breaker in the box on the house and 2 plugs to the room. Now in the room I have 2 computers hooked up ( 350 & 250 psu) 27 inch tv, stereo system and a 1500 watt room heater with 3 lights with 60 watt bulbs in it. Question is, is it safe to use everything at one time if I wanted to and whats the max that a 15 amp hold watt wise? I think 15 amps can hold around 1800 watts but I aint for sure. Any help would be great. Thanks

power (watts) = volts * amps

15 amp breaker * 120 volts = 1800 Watts TOTAL

350 + 250 + 60 + 60 + 60 + 1500 + tv about 300 = 2580 watts

2580 - 1800 = 780 Watts

You are over by 780 Watts and the breaker will blow.
