I need the following if statement in a word merge 'if statement' format. I really don't know how microsoft word structure their "If LOOPS"
THIS is what I need converted into a Word If statement
#############################################
If there is data for the "POSTION" then show only this
else
if there is data for the "CHURCHADDRESSINGTERM" then show it otherwise show only the
"FIRSTNAME"end if
end if###########################################
so my guess is{if{ mergefield POSITION}<>"" "{mergefield POSITION}" "{if{mergefield CHURCHADDRESSINGFIELD}="" "{mergefield FIRSTNAME}"}}
doesn't quite work though. any ideas?

Enter "Examples of IF fields" in Word Help. Then look for the option to specify multiple conditions.

We’re not all the same
What a shame" - Shinedown
