Vista wont save SQL ODBC password

Our entire company is running Vista surprising well. We received two new workstations this week and when setting the ODBC connections the passwords would not save. We have tried using the machine admin login as well as the domain administrator login to no avail. We didnt have this issue with any of the others, do you have a suggestion?
