Hmm, strings, file, dd, and any hex editor would be a good place to start.

Hi fmwap

Thank you for your reply. Can you please guide me where I can learn more about these "strings" "file " and "dd"?

The book that I am talking about is very important for my exam. Please help me in this regard and I will be grateful to you.

You will have to examine the files to see which contain the data. Probably not dlls, cfs maybe a configuration file, The data files is probably the larger ones. You will need to learn to use a hex editor with a hex-ascii display to inspect the files.
