separate text and number in excel

how would i separate text and column when this is in same column like
david 123 or 46132james

maybe you need to write VBA codes. alternatively, you can use file conversion service like this one:

write a vba function that does the following:
the cell value is the input
the procedure then goes thru the input one character at a time
when the character changes from text to number or from number to text, it marks the position
then it inserts a special character at that position (a char not likely to be found in any input)
then it assigns the text portion to one var and the number portion to another
then it rearranges the input to always put the text first, special char next then the number
this is the output

Then, write two more functions that each take the value from the first function. One returns the text part and the other returns the number part.

This will not work if the numbers and text are mixed in any of the inputs.
