Specs: Windows XP
should be an easy question for a VBscript
basically I've 3 files, 1 text and 2 excel files
that contains data for employees, vendors and

the 3 files needs to run against an .DBF
database that comes from the state every 3
months for verification if any of those personnel
can't work in healthcare.

data will be basically combination of last name
and DOB, and for physicians it's by a unique
license number only.

the files has many columns but only need to
run against couple or specific ones.

I've got a PC software that is a bit of Access, Excel and report generator. You might be able to use it to solve your problem. Save the Excel files as .csv and import them to the software. On completion, the consolidated/combined data may be created as a csv file. For details visit, download the master software and try it for free. There is a help feature that tells you what to do as you go from screen to screen so learning it should be easy. I'd be glad to help you work this tool. Look at page Importing Files for a start. Cheers.
