Comment: ok, we're trying to create new data file for QB POS with updated inventory list and customers. we've contacted the QB reps and asked if the sales history can be transfered over to the new data file. they said it's possible with third party software. i was wondering sinec it's in one .db file if it's possbile to somehow open it and extract w/e data we need (sale history is the most important). i'd really appreciate any help. thank you,

Reply: (edit)You may be out of luck trying to access the file directly as it's propriatry. I've tried this numerous times and I think it's some kind of ingress mod... don't know exactly but basically.. it's horrible. BUT! You can import / export all of your data from QB to excel, CSV etc, so why not just do that?
