Hi,
I have been sent some files from a large table/database with the extension .bcp but am finding it impossible to open them. Anyone have any ideas if there is a particular piece of software or anything that I need? Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

Looks like you'll need Borland C++ to open.

I always find it amazing that people send files to a recipient without first asking if the recipient indeed has the proper program to open the files...

Jennifer, C++ is not the only language that uses the bcp extension; it's also used in SQL to export/import data.

Right. I saw that too. It was my understanding (and I could be wrong) that the file dumps are not bcp extensions.

jc, are these indeed data files from a SQL database?
