I am trying to create a way in Access to update a table through different forms. The problem I am running into is duplicate entries for a student. Here is the scenario:
I have a table for math scores, the students will earn scores over four years to be aggregated at the end. I want to be able to enter the first year's scores in one form, then have another form update the same record the next year. OR if that is not possible, is there a way to combine the records?

You can enter all the records on one form or multiple if you really want. What you need is to add a field to indicate the year. Like year 1,2,3,4 or FR, SO, JR, SR.

Duplication are not allowed to make in this application, what I think so.
