Newline character in data field of sybase

I got a difficult scenario below: some data of an existing table consist of newline character in one of the remark fields which when i bcp out using new line '\n' as row delimiter, the 1 row of data split into two rows when hit to the remark field. Anyone how to solve this problem, coz i need to upload the data to another database using this bcp file.
