Hi,

I am currently working with a third party vendor. I want to build a databse which can be updated by the vendor at his premises. Can I see the forms/querries at my system in real time? Also can more than one person (ME and MY boss) run the same querries on the database which is populated and updated by a third-party? If Yes, then How?

yes you can.

create the database using a database program.

post the database on a web page so that anyone who uses it can access it. ask your website designer to convert the database in web format.

add usernames and passwords. give yourself full access, your boss full view access and your vendors only access to the parts of the database they need to see.

then anyone who wishes to use the database can access it online, anywhere, anytime. you and your boss should be able to view the information in real time. just like having the database in your own network. the vendor makes additions/changes in the records and you can view them immediately after posting.

only problem is that speed depends on internet speed available at premises.
