Moving Out of Date Data to another field

Microsoft Office access v.2007

Specs: Windows Vista

I am currently doing a database referencing all the resources in a Computer services company. Among other data, I have entered the actual affectation of the resource, when it started and when it ends. Now what I want is when I look at my form, I would like the field to be blank if the end date is passed and the data moved to another field called past affectation or something so I can input the new affectation
Is there anyway to do that?

Thanks in advance for your answer,

Kind regards

Yes, you can do that. If you have a lot of records, it could take some time to check all of them. Therefore, I would recommend that you add a command button that you can click when you want the process to run. You can then write VBA to move the records or use an Update Query.
