Look I know all the reaons not to use Filemaker, normally i do not however i inherited this solution so bear with me.

This application is a series of Filemaker files most which has been in place and used daily since 1995. although Filemaker has its issues we have never encountered this one.

Starting about three months ago one of our files would occasionally drop records. there would be no trace of the record just as if it were deleted. More recently it has become a daily occurence sometimes driopping several records a day. the dropped records seem to be random, in other words they wer not all people who had anything in a particualr field. the only common denominator is that they are usually records wich havwe been recently entered.

I have completly recrated the file thinking something was wrong with it which did not help. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
