Reply: (edit)Are you using Access to do this? The easiest way to do this would be insert a Hyperlink to the document and then change the properties to a Command Button. Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

Reply: (edit)I'm using Excel to link a worksheet to Word, theres no Access involved in this. Sorry to seem a bit dumb about this but how would you use a hyperlink to a word doc? But I know how to use a command button though. Its been over 5 years since I used these features in Excel & word & am a bit rusty. Thanks
