Hi,
I'm new with creating Access 2003 db’s and have a question about inputting data. I have a list of equipment (32 pieces), equipment hour readings, date they were taken, etc. The user enters the equipment hours and date.

I can extract the previous equipment number and corresponding hour readings and put them into a table.

How do I get the user to enter the next set of equipment hours while showing the previous equipment hours in one form? Do I create 32 subforms of the previous data form using each equipment number as a link? Is there a way to create a subform of the previous data query to allow data entry? Or do I create a separate query that allows data input based on the previous hours query?

Any help would be appreciated

Hello,

What you can use is an ETL tool. There are open source tools available for free.

Talend Open Studio is an open source ETL tool for data integration and migration experts. It's easy to learn for a non-technical user. What distinguishes Talend, when it comes to business users, is the tMap component. It allows the user to get a graphical and functional view of integration processes.
