Hiya, I am a Year 11 student and currently working on my database coursework. I entered the validation rule for the DoB, and I have to show that my validation rule is correct. However, when I enter a data, e.g. 12/34/1222, it doesn't show that it is wrong. So if I want to change it to a valid date, what should the validation rule be?

If you define the data type as date/Time, you will only be able to enter valid dates. No further rule would be required unless you wanted to limit the range. example: >4/19/2010
