I am new to Access, I want to set up a system to keep track of my customers. We have a home base business , with one computer, we sell phone headsets. We want to keep track of what & when our clients buy our products. Right how our clients are all in Simply Acc. is it possible to import them into Access (once I figure out how to set it up) without importing an of their data?
Also is there a database template out there that would work for our business ?
What version of Access? If Simply Accounting will allow you to export client names to a file, such as csv, xls, or txt, you can then import the data into Access. The filetypes than can be imported depend on what version of Access you're running. 2007 can import more filetypes than earlier versions.
